William J. Rumpke Sr.--Bill Rumpke Sr. is the president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. He also serves as the president of Rumpke Enterprises, Inc., the president of Legacy, Inc. and owner and president of Rumpke Amusements, Inc. (Rumpke Ballpark). Bill has worked for Rumpke since he was five years old and over the years has been employed in various positions, including vice-president, treasurer, secretary, sales representative, driver, heavy equipment operator, mechanic and general laborer.

In 1999, Ernst & Young named Rumpke and his cousin, the late Thomas B. Rumpke, Entrepreneurs of the Year.

Bill is a member of the Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Technical Commission and the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum Board of Trustees. He has also served on the Cincinnati Leadership Council, the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce and the Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District policy advisory subcommittees. Bill is a proud husband, father of six and grandfather of twelve.

William J. Rumpke Jr.--Bill Rumpke Jr. is the chief operating officer at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Bill began his career in 1978 and worked in various positions at Rumpke before founding Rumpke’s Central Ohio Market in 1988 and later becoming chief operating officer in 2002. In the past, Bill was employed as a district manager, route manager, driver, general laborer and ballpark employee. 

Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in General Business from Miami University (Ohio). He serves on Board of Governors for the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). In his free time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, volunteering at his church and coaching youth sports.

Todd B. Rumpke--Todd Rumpke is the regional vice president of the Southeast Market at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Todd worked in various positions at Rumpke before becoming regional vice president, including district manager for Rumpke’s Portsmouth and Beech Hollow, Ohio locations, route manager, driver, general laborer and ballpark employee.

Todd earned his bachelor’s degree in General Business and Personnel Management from Miami University (Ohio). He is a MOLO and Kentucky State Certified Landfill Manager. He also serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association. In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, hot rods, home remodeling, landscaping, coaching baseball and hockey and volunteering at his church.

Jeffrey E. Rumpke--Jeff Rumpke is the regional vice president of the Cincinnati Market at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Jeff worked in various positions at Rumpke before becoming regional vice president, including regional manager, district manager, division manager, recycling buyback manager, heavy equipment operator and driver.

Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Xavier University. He is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), and serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). During his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, coaching baseball and basketball and volunteering at his church.

Andrew M. Rumpke—Andrew Rumpke is the regional vice president of the Central Ohio Market at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Andrew worked in various positions at Rumpke before becoming regional vice president, including division manager of Rumpke Portable Restrooms, analyst in Rumpke’s information technology department, general laborer, as well as positions at Rumpke Recycling.

Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Miami University (Ohio) and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati. Andrew serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). During his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife.

Michael D. Bramkamp--Mike Bramkamp is the regional vice president of the Northwest Market at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Mike worked in various positions at Rumpke before becoming regional vice president including, division manager of Rumpke Portable Restrooms, district sales manager and sales representative.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in management from Miami University (Ohio). Mike serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, volunteering at his church, coaching, golfing, running and playing racquetball.

Philip E. Wehrman--Phil Wehrman is the chief financial officer and treasurer at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Phil worked in various positions before becoming chief financial officer and treasurer at Rumpke, including financial analyst, senior accountant and controller for other corporations.


Phil earned his bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and accounting from Eastern Kentucky University. He received his license as a certified public accountant in 1988. Phil serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). In his free time, Phil enjoys spending time with his wife and children and golfing.



Matthew J. Bauer--Matt Bauer is the director of sales and marketing at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. He has served in this position since joining the company in 1998. Matt has nearly 20 years of sales and waste industry experience.

Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Alma College (Michigan). He serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA) and is involved in the Cincinnati Urban League and in local, city and state planning commissions. He is also the vice president of the booster club at Mother Teresa Elementary and is a lay minister at his church. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, coaching sports, volunteering and music.

Charla R. Cabe--Charla Cabe is the director of human resources at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Charla worked in various positions at Rumpke before becoming the director of human resources, including employment in the payroll, general ledger and treasury departments.

Charla earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and has received her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification. Charla also serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). In her free time, Charla enjoys spending time with her daughters and reading.

Kevin L. Downey--Kevin Downey is the director of hauling at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Before becoming the director of hauling at Rumpke, Kevin worked in various positions in both the private and public sectors of the waste industry, including director of operations, general manager, district president, assistant regional safety manager, route supervisor, driver, general laborer and many others.

Kevin serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his three children and visiting his large family on the east coast, hiking, biking and traveling.

Michael T. Nelson--Mike Nelson is the regional vice president of the Southern Market at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Mike has nearly 20 years of waste industry experience. He has worked in various positions including general manager, route auditor, operation and site manager and route driver.

 Mike serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). During his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and playing softball.

Richard J.  Roberts-- Jay Roberts is the director of engineering and environmental affairs at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Jay has more than 20 years of experience in the environmental industry.

Jay earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dayton (Ohio). He is also a registered professional engineer, serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA), and is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA). In his free time, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, and participating in local charities with his family. 
 

Joseph H. Rogan--Joe Rogan is director of information technology at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Joe has nearly 20 years of information technology and waste industry experience.

Joe received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a management information systems major from the University of Dayton (Ohio). He serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, attending sporting events, skiing, playing basketball, and coaching his sons’ school teams.

Stephen J. Sargent--Steve Sargent is the director of Rumpke Recycling at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Steve has more than 20 years of experience in the recycling industry.  

Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University (Ohio). He graduated a member of Delta Mu Delta, National Business Honorary. Steve is a member of the National Recycling Coalition and the Association of Ohio Recyclers. He serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA), and serves on the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Litter Prevention Advisory Council and on the Logan Elm School Board in Circleville, Ohio. In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.

Lawrence R. Stone--Larry Stone is the director of safety at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Before becoming the director of safety Larry worked in various positions at Rumpke, including general manager of special projects, general manager, assistant general manager, sales representative, heavy equipment operator, truck driver and general laborer.

In 2004, Larry received the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA) Member of the Year Award for his dedication to safety within the industry and development of the "Slow Down To Get Around" campaign. This program is currently in place in hundreds of municipalities around the world, including Cincinnati, Dallas and New York.

Larry serves as a Rumpke Representative to the NSWMA. Larry is a charter member of the Colerain Township, Ohio Business Association and has served four terms as vice president and five terms as president. He also served as co-chair of the 2000 Colerain Township, Ohio fire levy campaign, Assistant Athletic Director at Cincinnati Christian University and is involved in several Colerain Township, Ohio community fund raisers. In his free time, Larry enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and grandchildren, and volunteering at Cincinnati Christian University as the assistant athletic director.

James E. Thaxton--Jim Thaxton is general counsel and secretary at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Jim has nearly 20 years of experience as a practicing attorney and in corporate law.

Jim earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton (Ohio) and his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati. Jim is a member of the American and Ohio Bar Associations, the American Corporate Counsel Association, and serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). He is actively involved in youth sports and his church. In his free time, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and children, woodworking and guitar building.

Bruce R. Ullrey--Bruce Ullrey is the chief information officer at Rumpke Consolidated Companies, Inc. Before becoming the chief information officer, Bruce worked as the director of information technology at Rumpke. 

Bruce earned his bachelor’s degree in fine arts from San Jose State University (California) and received his master’s degree in management of technology from Kennedy Western University (Wyoming). Bruce serves as a Rumpke representative to the National Solid Wastes Management Association (NSWMA). He is active in the COMMON IBM midrange computer users group and participates as a conference speaker. He also teaches information technology courses at various Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky universities. He is active as a lay pastor. In his free time, Bruce enjoys spending time with his eight grandchildren, vegetable gardening and writing.
