North Royalton Selects Rumpke for Trash Service

NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio – May 7, 2012 – Rumpke will become the official trash removal and recycling service provider for City of North Royalton residents beginning May 7, 2012. Prior to this contract, the City provided the service.

Collection days for weekly curbside trash and recycling collection have not changed. All materials should be placed out for pick-up by 7 a.m. Rumpke mailed a brochure to residents explaining the change. “Rumpke looks forward to becoming a member of the North Royalton community,” said Greg Beamer, Rumpke district manager. “Mayor Stefanik, Council and the city’s leaders have been wonderful to work with during the transition.”

North Royalton will maintain its drop-off station at the Service Department on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Acceptable items include recyclables, scrap metal, auto batteries, motor oil, anti-freeze, computers, cell phones and automobile tires from passenger vehicles.

Rumpke’s district office is located in Broadview Heights at 3131 East Royalton Rd. Rumpke employs 80 people in the district and 2,400 companywide.
