LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Jan. 14, 2013— Rumpke Waste & Recycling has named Laurie Probus municipal sales representative. Probus will work with communities throughout the Louisville area and Southern Indiana to establish waste and recycling services.
Probus has worked at Rumpke five years as a recycling sales representative and has 15 years of industry experience. Probus is a member of the Solid Waste Coordinators of Kentucky and KY EXCEL.
Chris Pierce has been named recycling sales representative. Pierce is working with businesses, schools and organizations to develop customized recycling solutions and meet sustainability goals. He has been a sales representative at Rumpke for five years.
Rumpke promoted Darrell Williams to sales supervisor responsible for managing a team of six sales representatives. Williams has 18 years of industry experience and is an Honorary Kentucky Colonel.
Howard Thomas replaced Williams as a sales representative specializing in waste, recycling and portable restroom services for construction sites. He has worked at Rumpke four years.
Rumpke employs approximately 120 people in the Louisville area and provides waste, recycling and portable restroom services.
