Rumpke Rolls Out Recycling Carts in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio – May 20, 2013—Rumpke began delivering recycling carts to all Harrison Township residences Monday so that families can begin recycling more.

Rumpke is exchanging red recycling bins for the larger, 65-gallon carts at no additional charge to residents. The carts can hold three times as much recyclable material, have an attached lid and are easily wheeled to and from the curb.

A sticker on each cart shows what can be recycled, including:

  • Plastic bottles and jugs
  • Paper and cardboard
  • Aluminum and metal cans
  • Glass bottles and jars

Rumpke began a new three-year contract with the Township May 1. Collection days and other service guidelines have not changed.
