BUTLER, Kentucky—March 15, 2017— Family owned and operated Rumpke Waste & Recycling is hosting a job fair to recruit new employees March 21, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.at its Pendleton County offices located at 1374 Bryan-Griffin Rd., Butler, Kentucky.
Rumpke offers training including a program to help interested applicants obtain their commercial drivers’ license (CDL). At the event attendees can meet members of management, current Rumpke drivers and mechanics and learn about pay, medical and retirement benefits and opportunities to advance into a variety positions at Rumpke.
“Many of our team members have worked at Rumpke for 10, 20, even 30 or more years. Quite a few have started out as drivers and have been promoted to other roles within the organization,” said Anita Meiman, human resources manager, Rumpke.
“We have an immediate need for drivers, driver trainees and mechanics. Rumpke employees provide an essential service, one that no one wants to go without. The work is physical, requires endurance, discipline and mental toughness. Not everyone can do this work, but for those who do, they are making a great living.”
