Rumpke Opens New Maintenance Facility in Colerain Township

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio – March 15, 2018 –  Rumpke officially opened a new $13 million maintenance facility today in Colerain Township, Ohio.

The hometown waste and recycling company, along with project partner HGC Construction and the Colerain Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the new facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony and site tours for township and county officials and the business community.

The 77,000 square foot facility houses Rumpke's weld, tire and painting operations for the region. The new building brings together about 50 employees from multiple Rumpke locations in Colerain Township and Norwood, Ohio. The site also adds new business efficiencies and allows for more growth.

“We continue to invest in Colerain Township,” said Jeff Rumpke, area president, Rumpke. “We’ve been a part of this community since 1945. It’s our home, and it’s the home of many of our employees. This facility, along with the new corporate headquarters, showcases our commitment to the community and our team members.”

Rumpke added that with the opening of the new facility, the company hopes to add an additional shift and more team members to assist with weld and paint shop operations.

“We continue to grow, and we need dedicated individuals to grow with us,” Rumpke said.

Rumpke started planning the new facility in Spring 2016. Official construction started in June 2017.
