We are closely monitoring the rapidly changing public health environment and following sanitary protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as OSHA.

Community & Customer Care

We're providing essential service on schedule, and with more folks at home these days, we're picking up even more curbside waste to keep your street clean and green. We're also initiating personal outreach to customers to best accommodate need, we are showing our commitment to local spending through purchases of supplies and catering, we're authorizing continued donations (even if events and promotions are cancelled), and we are participating in the Ohio House Economic Task Force.

Billing Update - Effective 7/1/20
Nothing is more important than providing you with the waste and/or recycling service you depend on each week. It’s a key factor in protecting human health. That mission is always important, but even more so today.

In recent months, we’ve noticed a consistent 25-30% increase in the amount of waste being placed curbside. Collection time has increased, we’re hiring more employees, trucks require additional maintenance and more disposal fees are required. Simply put, there’s more work required and that is driving up the cost for residential service.

The last thing we want to do is add to the financial burden that some of our customers are already facing, so Rumpke is actively engaged in cost reduction measures and is absorbing a great deal of the excess expense, but a small increase was simply unavoidable. Therefore you may notice a pricing adjustment on your invoice.
