CARROLLTON, Ky.—Jan. 22, 2013—Rumpke representatives and Binny the Rumpke Recycling mascot will be at Kathryn Winn Primary Jan. 29 to promote the school’s new recycling program.
Students will learn to separate items at lunch for compost or recycling instead of going in the trash. Rumpke will encourage students to recycle at home and school during two assemblies:
9-9:30 a.m. Preschool/ First grade
10-10:30 a.m. Kindergarten/ Second grade
Kathryn Winn Primary is located at 901 Hawkins Street in Carrollton. The assemblies will be in the school gymnasium.
