LOUISVILLE, Ky.—April 18, 2012— How do you provide enough restrooms for hundreds of thousands of revelers?
Placement of more than 600 portable toilets is already underway to accommodate the crowd at Saturday's Thunder Over Louisville. At midnight Sunday, crews will begin a seven-hour cleanup to remove the toilets and more than 800 trash containers.
“Rumpke is proud to play an important role in Thunder for more than a decade,” said Mike Nelson, regional vice president for Rumpke. “This is a big job and we service many Kentucky Derby Festival events.”
