Curbside Guidelines

  • Place items curbside the night before your scheduled collection.
  • Drivers may not return if materials aren’t out on time.
  • Unless otherwise specified, service includes up to two 95-gallon carts or six (32-gallon) bags per pickup.
  • Each can/bag cannot exceed 50 lbs.
  • Do not place trash in boxes; all boxes must be broken down and bundled.

Large & Special Items

  • Contact Rumpke at least 48 business hours in advance for large items or excess trash (fees may apply).
  • TVs must be 32” or smaller.
  • Mattresses and upholstered furniture must be wrapped in plastic.
  • Appliances with freon require special handling procedures. Please complete a refrigerant recovery statement and contact Rumpke for more details.
  • Bulky materials including drywall, concrete, bricks, dirt or rocks are not acceptable. 

Items Not Accepted

  • Hazardous materials are not accepted according to federal law.
  • Drums, barrels, yard and household containers are not acceptable trash containers and will be assumed trash if placed at the curb.

Service Policies

  • Rumpke is not responsible for damaged or missing plastic cans or lids.
  • Rumpke is not responsible for damage beyond the curb line.
  • Landlords may be responsible for service of rental supplies.
  • Rules and regulations may vary by location. Please contact us if you have questions.

Billing & Accounts

  • Residents are billed quarterly in advance.
  • Payments are due upon receipt; late fees may apply for late payments or returned checks.
  • Invoices may be prorated for a specific service period.
  • Service transfers to a new location are available.
  • Subscription accounts auto-renew unless cancelled.
