New Recycling Option for Eminence, Ky. Residents

EMINENCE, Ky.—July 8, 2013—Eminence residents can now use curbside recycling service to reduce their weekly trash, thanks to a new contract with Rumpke.

Rumpke offers curbside recycling service for a small monthly fee, which includes an 18-gallon recycling bin and weekly collection. Residents can sign-up by calling (800) 678-6753.

“We hope the community will take advantage of the opportunity to conserve landfill space and natural resources,” said Route Supervisor Jeremy Rumpke.

Rumpke accepts these items for recycling:

  • Paper and cardboard
  • Aluminum and metal cans
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Plastic bottles and jugs

The City began a new contract with Rumpke July 1 to provide weekly trash service and the optional recycling service.
