Rumpke Provides Services to Festival Events
Louisville, Kentucky – Rumpke Waste & Recycling will provide portable restrooms and trash services for the 2017 Kentucky Derby Festival. Setup began April 17 and final cleanup ends the morning of May 7.
Service will begin at Thunder Over Louisville, where Rumpke will provide more than 800 portable restrooms, as well as trash removal services. The restrooms are stocked with enough toilet paper to stretch from Louisville to Indianapolis and back, with several miles to spare.
Rumpke will also provide portable restrooms for the Kentucky Derby, where 500 portable restrooms and 8 VIP restroom trailers will be provided.

Rumpke began delivering restrooms for Thunder Over Louisville on Monday, April 17. Deliveries will continue until Friday evening, April 21. For the Kentucky Derby, units will be placed starting Monday, May 1, and will finish on Friday, May 5.
Rumpke opened its Louisville location in 1993. Today, the site includes a recycling facility, waste transfer station, hauling operation and administrative offices. Rumpke employs 160 people in Louisville, providing waste, recycling and portable restroom services.
