Rumpke Service Starts in Paris Kentucky

PARIS, Kentucky – Dec. 3, 2018 – Rumpke Waste & Recycling is now providing weekly trash and recycling collection for the City of Paris.

“We’re proud to partner with Rumpke to continue providing residents and businesses with quality waste collection services,” said Daron Jordan, Paris city manager. “This collaboration will allow expanded services including residential curbside recycling city-wide, the acceptance of glass as recyclable material and a discount to those 60 years and older.”

As part of the new agreement, residents will have the option to use their own trash cans. Residents can also lease a City of Paris container or a Rumpke 95-gallon trash cart for $2 each. Residents may also choose to participate in Rumpke’s curbside recycling program at no additional cost. Eighteen-gallon bins will be provided to residents who wish to recycle.

“Our family-owned company appreciates the opportunity to provide service for Paris,” said Adam Rumpke, region vice president. “Paris officials have worked diligently to ensure a seamless transition with uninterrupted service. We look forward to serving the community for many years to come.”
