Rumpke Waste & Recycling crews are out this morning attempting to service its Friday customers; however, closed roadways throughout Logan County, Ohio, and Randolph County, Indiana may delay or prevent collection.
“First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by yesterday’s severe weather,” said Noel Moomey, region manager, Rumpke. “Unfortunately, many of the roadways in areas where tornados touched down are impassable this morning. We are attempting to service customers where road conditions allow. For those customers that we are unable to access this week, we will collect additional material next week.”
“We know after these types of weather events, that’s when our customers need us most. We will be working with the local communities on how best to address the additional debris,” Moomey said.
