BUTLER TWP., Ohio – Sept. 10, 2013—Rumpke is delivering large recycling carts to Butler Township (Montgomery County) households starting Sept. 16, per a new agreement for residential waste and recycling services.
“We are working with the Township to make the transition as seamless as possible for residents,” said Rumpke Regional Vice President Mike Bramkamp. “We are looking forward to starting service Oct. 1.”
The collection schedule is the same with weekly trash collection and every-other-week recycling collection. Containers should be placed at the curb by 6 a.m. as collection times may be different.
Residents are encouraged to look at the lid of their new recycling cart to see what should go inside, including:
- Plastic bottles and jugs
- Paper and cardboard
- Aluminum and metal cans
- Glass bottles and jars
Residents will receive a mailer from Rumpke that will include their collection guidelines and schedule. The information will also be available on the Butler Township website. Rumpke also provides residential service to many surrounding communities including Union, Vandalia and Harrison Township.
Questions about service should be directed to Rumpke’s Dayton customer service center at (800) 223-3960 or northwest.market@rumpke.com.
