• In most cases, commercial roll off dumpsters do not require a permit, especially if you place them on your property.
• You will need a permit to place the dumpster on public property.*

*This includes sidewalks, city-owned property, parking areas, public streets, etc. Your local municipality may give you a right-of-way permit to place the dumpster on a public street. When applying for the permit, you should state how long you need to have the dumpster in the public space.

• At Rumpke, commercial customers can rent a roll off dumpster for as little as one day or as long as a month.
• If you need the dumpster longer than scheduled, simply contact us to extend your rental period.

• Place the roll off in an area with enough room for the dumpster and access for the delivery truck and sufficient use.
• The immediate area should ideally be flat, stable, and free from obstructions.
• Placement selection should also keep the dumpster out of the way of danger and avoid posing any threats to people and adjacent property.

• Rumpke does not accept anything deemed a hazardous material.
• This includes but is not limited to:

  • Batteries
  • Medical waste
  • Tires
