DAYTON, Ohio—June 12, 2014— Early mornings, long days and extreme weather are just a few of the challenges waste and recycling truck drivers face on a daily basis. Next week, Rumpke is celebrating National Garbage Man Day to thank the men and women who keep our neighborhoods clean and green.
“Our drivers do an important job every day, in all weather conditions,” said Regional Vice President Mike Bramkamp. “This is a day to let them know how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication.”
The public is invited to print a thank you card to leave for a driver, or mail to Rumpke at 1932 E. Monument Avenue, Dayton Ohio 45402. Feedback and questions are also welcome online.
National Garbage Man Day began in 2013 to raise awareness for sanitation industry workers.
